Northwestern State University Softball Camps

Overview

Northwestern State University fields its Lady Demons softball team in NCAA Division I, competing as a member of the Southland Conference from its home base in Natchitoches, Louisiana. The program recently underwent a leadership transition: on June 5, Jason Anderson was introduced as the 14th head coach in the Lady Demons' history. Anderson steps into the role carrying more than 19 seasons of head-coaching experience and a career mark of 796 wins and 233 losses (.774), which ranks as the second-highest total among active NCAA Division II head coaches. All of those results were built over a 12-year stint at Southern Arkansas, a Division II program, where he claimed seven Great American Conference titles, advanced to five straight GAC Tournament championship games (2022 through 2026), secured 10 back-to-back NCAA regional berths, and guided his squad to two NCAA Division II Women's College World Series.

The camp program, operated under the banner Jason Anderson Softball Camps (jasonandersonsoftballcamps.com), provides structured instructional sessions for aspiring players in the Natchitoches community.
