North Carolina A&T State University Softball Camps

Overview

North Carolina A&T State University fields its softball program in Greensboro, North Carolina, competing at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA). The 2026 campaign marked a notable milestone for the Aggies: a 20-33 overall record (5-19 in CAA play) represented the program's highest win total since 2014. The official camp provider, North Carolina A & T Softball, operates out of the university's own on-campus field and offers skill-development sessions for high-school-age players.

Coaching Staff

The current head coach is Jose Gonzalez Jr., a fact independently confirmed by the provider's decision to name its flagship camp session after him. Two assistant coaches round out the staff: Darren Olivo and Janel Hayes. No additional biographical details—playing history, prior coaching stops, or credentials—were available in the source material gathered for this listing.

Facilities

All camp activity takes place at the NC A&T Softball Field, the venue named by the provider. No further descriptive information regarding field capacity, playing-surface type, dugout configuration, or on-site amenities was found in the source material, so no additional facility details can be confirmed here.

Schedule & Registration

A live check of the provider's site on September 15 revealed a newly added session that was absent from the original catalog snapshot (which listed no confirmed future dates). The current offering is reflected below:

Note: The provider's site directs registrants to a pricing page for specific costs; a standalone registration URL was not separately captured during the live check. Prospective families should visit the linked site directly for up-to-date enrollment steps.
