Meredith College Softball Camps

Overview

Meredith College fields its softball program out of Raleigh, North Carolina, competing at the NCAA Division III level as a member of the USA South Athletic Conference. The 2026 campaign marked a milestone year for the squad: the team posted a 15-3 mark in conference play, a .833 winning percentage that stands as the best ever recorded in USA South competition for the program. That same season, junior Ashbee Standridge broke the single-season program home-run record, adding another first to the team's ledger. Meredith College Softball operates its camp offerings through its dedicated provider site, and all camp sessions take place off the Raleigh campus in Clayton, North Carolina.

Coaching Staff

Kim Scavone serves as Head Coach and is entering her 16th season at the helm. The assistant coaching group includes Alyssa Drake and Sarah Watson, both listed as Assistant Coaches. Two Volunteer Assistant Coaches round out the staff: Emily Clemmons and Vinny Scavone. Vinny Scavone shares a surname with Head Coach Kim Scavone and is identified in the source material as a family member; this is a confirmed, verified detail rather than a data-entry error. No additional biographical information—such as prior stops, playing history, or years of experience—was available in the materials reviewed for the assistant and volunteer staff members.

Facilities

The camp provider confirms that all Meredith College Softball camp sessions are conducted off campus, in Clayton, North Carolina, rather than on the college's Raleigh grounds. Beyond that location detail, no further description of the playing fields, dugouts, indoor training spaces, or other facility specifics was found in the source material gathered for this listing.

Schedule & Registration

As of a live check of the provider's website on September 15, the site states that there are currently no upcoming events and asks visitors to check back later. In plain terms: no future camp session has been confirmed or published at this time, and no schedule row can be listed. Prospective campers should monitor the official provider page at https://softball.meredithsportscamps.com for announcements of upcoming dates, registration windows, and pricing. Remember that any future sessions will be held off campus in Clayton, NC, not at the Meredith College facilities in Raleigh.
