Coaching Staff
Lynn Anderson โ Head Coach
Anderson is the 13th person to hold the head coaching role at Bradley. Her path to Peoria included a three-year stretch as the top coach at Minnesota Duluth, where she collected 120 victories. That run featured two seasons with 40 or more wins, a 41-15 record in her final year, and a 2023 NSIC Tournament championship. She also set the school record for reaching 100 wins in the fewest games and mentored the player who captured the 2023 conference Pitcher of the Year award.
Her most recent position before Bradley was a two-season assistant role at SIUE. In the 2025 season, the Cougars finished near the top of the Ohio Valley Conference in both offensive and defensive categories, posting an OVC-leading .327 conference batting average. The team also set a program record with 45 home runs that year; Emma Henderson hit 13 of them, the most by a Cougar since the program's move to Division I.

Instruction takes place at Petersen Hotels Field at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex, 8400 N. Orange Prairie Road, Peoria. Bradley's softball program relocated to this site in 2017, ending its tenure at Laura Bradley Park, where the team had been based since 1994.
The complex contains ten softball diamonds in total. Petersen Hotels Field is the flagship venue and features a fully synthetic turf surface, a grandstand with seating for 1,000, and additional covered bleachers running down each baseline. Other on-field amenities include a video board in right-center field, lighting for evening play, sunken dugouts (each with its own restroom), batting cages, and a concessions and merchandise stand.
Surrounding the main field, the complex also includes a secondary stadium-level diamond, eight further playing surfaces, and a 125,000-square-foot indoor dome that supports winter training and has hosted events such as the 2018 Petersen Hotels Invitational.
